RLC – Remote Lighting Control
The remote lighting control BGR 904 serves as a more cost-efficient alternative to conventional wiring on board of ships. There will be one system installed in Economy Class and one system installed in the bridge area of the ship. The bridge area system includes a graphical operating terminal (GOT) 8.4“ LCD with touch screen and 8 I/O modules each of which having 8 switching outputs and 8 digital inputs for reading back contacts or 24 V DC. The Economy Class system includes a graphical operating terminal (GOT) 5.7“ LCD with touch screen and 4 I/O modules each of which having 8 switching outputs and 8 digital inputs for reading back contacts or 24 V DC. The buttons on the operating terminals are configurable by software and may be flexibly adapted to the conditions on board. Communication between the modules and the associated GOT will be carried out on an RS485 bus.
