4NMEA to1 – 4 NMEA to 1 RS 422

If the number of needed serial interfaces to control an ECDIS, a VDR or other systems on board of a vessel is not enough or the cabling between the systems contains not enough spare wires, the 4NMEA to1 module must be used. A data distribution between the connected sources is possible.

Input 4x RS 422 up to 38400 Baud (galv. isolated between channels and system without transmitting functionality Ui>=2V / 2 mA); telegrams according to IEC 61 162-1; IEC 2000
Output 1x RS 422 up to 115200 Baud
System function Self test module after restart with output of the status to the programmed output port
Other features Baud rate and data flow for each port adjustable; all calibrations of parameters can be done by a normal terminal program (for e. Hyper Terminal)
Applications Multiplexing of 4 NMEA signals into one data stream, which will be transmitted to the RS 422 output port
